Greetings!

We have the pleasure of inviting you to attend a power-packed review classes for librarians licensure examination on July 31-September 25, 2011. This will be conducted on 8 consecutive Sundays at the PUP Graduate School room 406 located at M.H. Del Pilar Campus, PUP Hasmin Hotel, Valencia St., Sta. Mesa, Manila.

The reviewers are well-known librarians and professors of Library Science from different universities in Metro Manila. The tuition fee is P3, 000.00. You can pay this upon registration on July 31, 2011. You can give your reservation to the Review Committee: Angelina P. Resurreccion, Monalisa Leguiab, Rhea Rowena U. Apolinario, Millet R. Casala and David A. Cabonero or any of the cited officers in the letterhead.

We are in full swing for the next Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI), General Conference and Assembly to be held on November 16-18, 2011 in Hotel Elizabeth located at #1 J. Felipe Street corner Gibraltar Street, Baguio City East, Baguio City. This activity is in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and Arts-National Committee on Library and Information Services (NCCA-NCLIS) with the theme: “National Conference on Libraries for Progress.”


Consider this then as an invitation for you to prepare for travelling and planning your schedules for another inspiring professional national conference. The PLAI National Conference registration fee is Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P4,500.00) inclusive of lunches, snacks, kits, certificates and fellowship dinner. We will be applying for CPE credit units and likewise will request Commission on Higher Education, (CHED) Department of Education (DepED), and the Civil Service Commission for attendance on official time.
